We are a 501(c)(3) organization, that is made up entirely of volunteers. Each transport will average around $500. In 2015 and 2016, the founder spent over $10,000 out of pocket to help save more animals. We have no administrative overhead or salaries; every dollar goes back into the organization to further our rescue efforts.
Additionally, with an owned aircraft, we now have maintenance costs to keep our aircraft airworthy.
Our main focus is on efficiency of the operation, while keeping operating costs as low as possible, and maximizing animal rescue per flight.
We do this as pure volunteers, and will continue to operate this way. We work normal day jobs like everyone else. Our intent is to maximize animal rescue by keeping operating expenditures to an absolute minimum. Most transports occur on weekends, or occasional weekdays, with us using our own vacation days to accomplish the mission.
